The Castillians first formed in 2010, born out of the should-be-legendary ColdRice collective from Birmingham, UK, who were responsible for probably the best underground music scene in Europe that we ever came across. Alongside the other "ColdRice House Bands" (including Black Mekon, Copter, Sex Beet and more), The Castillians made their mark at home playing decadent warehouse parties which you would never invite your mother to. In 2011 they self-released their debut album, "Show Your Teeth", just on a small run of CD-Rs under the ColdRice Records banner. Like everything else released on the small label, it was one of the most played albums we've ever had. It just so happened not many people caught on to it. Yet.

PNKSLM are incredibly psyched to announce that we've just signed the band's long awaited second album "You & Me", which we will be releasing on vinyl and digital late this summer. The album takes a slightly more soulful direction than "Show Your Teeth", but keeps up with the energy and hooks. Plus with Lucern Raze and Black Mekon producing it together, it's still kept some of the original dirtiness. To get the ball rolling, we're first re-releasing "Show Your Teeth" digitally on today.

The first single from "You & Me" will be appearing in the coming weeks, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled.
